However, in certain specific contexts, LaxCoach AI may also act as a data processor when it processes personal data on behalf of another entity acting as the data controller. This may be the case, for example, in the case of integrations or functionalities that allow a coach, educational institution, sports club, or legal representative of a minor to manage third-party accounts through the platform, in which case LaxCoach AI will process the data only in accordance with the documented instructions of that entity, without assuming responsibility for fundamental decisions regarding the purposes of the processing.

Therefore, while we at LaxCoach AI strive to implement commercially viable data protection methods, we cannot ensure absolute security of your personal information. We undertake not to sell, distribute or transfer your personal data to unauthorized third parties, unless we have your explicit consent or are required by law to do so.

LaxCoach AI is committed to ensuring that all international transfers of personal data comply with applicable data protection regulations, including appropriate security measures to safeguard user information. This includes, but is not limited to, implementing standard contractual clauses, assessing the adequacy of data protection in the receiving country, and complying with applicable privacy standards on third party services.
By using LaxCoach AI, users consent to the transfer, storage and processing of their data on servers located outside their country of residence, acknowledging that such transfers are necessary for the operation of the platform. LaxCoach AI undertakes to take all reasonable steps to protect the integrity and security of personal data during such international transfers.
11. PRIVACY RIGHTS
LaxCoach AI users, regardless of their place of residence, have a number of rights in relation to their personal data, recognized by various international data protection regulations, including, but not limited to, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and other similar privacy laws in force in the United States and other jurisdictions. These rights are intended to ensure transparency, individual control, and effective protection of users’ personal information. In accordance with the above, users may exercise the following rights:

- Right to restriction of processing: request the temporary suspension or restriction of the processing of personal data in certain circumstances, for example, while the accuracy of the data is being verified or during the assessment of an objection to the processing.
- Right to portability: request that your personal data be provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and that it be transferred to another data controller, provided that the processing is based on consent or an agreement and is carried out by automated means.

LaxCoach AI will respond to requests to exercise rights in a timely manner and in accordance with the deadlines established by applicable regulations. The exercise of these rights is free of charge, except in cases where requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case a reasonable fee may be charged, or the request may be denied. To exercise any of the above rights, users may contact us through the channels provided in this privacy policy.
12. CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION
We comply with the requirements of national and international data protection regulations (COPPA, GDPR-K) regarding the protection of personal data of minors. Our platform only allows registration to persons over the age of 13, therefore we do not collect any information from children under the age of 13 (the minimum age for collecting and processing information without the consent of parents or legal guardians). If we become aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.
13. COMPLIANCE WITH THE BIOMETRIC INFORMATION PRIVACY ACT (BIPA)
LaxCoach AI informs that, although users do not directly provide traditional biometric identifiers such as fingerprints or facial scans, automated video analysis using computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies may allow the inference of certain physical patterns and movement metrics that, in some cases, could be considered biometric data under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and other applicable privacy laws in the United States.
This type of processing is carried out solely for the purpose of providing core application functionality, such as technical analysis of the throw, form scores, posture tracking, and personalized feedback to improve athletic performance. By using the application, the user consents to LaxCoach AI processing their videos and the information inferred from them within the scope of these functional purposes, in accordance with the terms set forth in this policy.
LaxCoach AI does not sell or share biometric or derivative data with third parties, unless there is a valid legal obligation to do so. The data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing and is protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures. Users may contact LaxCoach AI for more information about this processing or to exercise their rights in relation to this category of data.
14. THIRD PARTIES
Except as otherwise expressly included in this privacy policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information that LaxCoach AI collects from you. If you disclose your information to third parties, whether other users or third parties, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them.
